Rally to Northney, Saturday 4th June

This date has changed from the original date advertised. Sail to the upper reaches of beautiful Chichester Harbour and visit Northney, reachable at almost all states of the tide. Apart from good company there is space for barbecues, football and great showers.

 Please contact Dave Clark.

Rally to Bembridge, Saturday 18th June

This is a rally with a difference to Bembridge with the Victory Class who will be holding a passage race. The marina are putting on a jazz band from 17.30 and we are proposing to eat with the Victory Class at Bembridge SC (not Brading Haven YC) for a change. Menus will be circulated when available. The Rally Master is also hoping that you might consider offering a berth to a tired, grubby and possibly drunk Victory Sailor for the night. It would help if you could let Peter Guy know your intentions well in advance, so that the Victory Class know how many berths are available and we can book the meal. Please put your name on the list in the bar or let Peter Guy know on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Hot Turkey Race – Christmas Day 2015

It’s that time of year again… carols, tinsel and the PSC Christmas Day Hot Turkey Race. The race is a great way to blow away the cobwebs and develop an appetite for the onslaught of calories that is known as Christmas lunch. Racing starts at 10:25am with an Xmas tree hoisted up the PSC flagpole. You don’t get that with the America’s Cup do you?

It’s not a long course (last year’s fastest dinghy got round in under 32 minutes). So you’ll be home in time to put the sprouts on and carve the turkey before the Queen’s speech. The PSC bar will be open for a celebratory glass of mulled wine and mince pie.

Entry forms, course map, sailing instructions and notice of race are on the racing pages of this website. All entry fees (£3 per crew member) are donated to GAFIRS (Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service).

Last year we had fantastic bright and breezy weather. The racing fleet was 14 boats strong, ranging from a 12 foot Laser dinghy to a 54 foot ocean racing cruiser. Let’s get more boats on the water this Christmas. If you only do one race a year, make it this one.
